San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico

New Tours Added for 2019 and 2020

Hi everyone,

I thought I would give you a heads up on future big tours.  As you know I try to keep the costs as inexpensive as possible and tours all include:  ground transportation to and from Nogales, AZ, airfare, local guides and bi-lingual assistants, hotel, breakfast, entry fees, tips and tons of fun!

We fly out of Hermosillo, Sonora usually on AeroMex.  I have yet to get prices so just let me know which tours you are interested in and I will put your name on the list and when we get more price info, I will let you know.

2019:

October 8 – 16

San Miguel de Allende

One of the most beautiful tourist towns in the world!  We just came back and enjoyed every minute.  We will also visit Guanajuato and Querétaro on that tour.

November 13 – 20

Guadalajara

This tour will include Tequila (the city), Tlaquepaque, Chapala and all the surrounding area

2020:

February 18 – 25

Mexico City, Puebla & Cholula

We will visit the Museum of Anthropology, the National Folkloric Ballet, the ruins, downtown, Diego Rivera’s home plus Puebla (which I have not been to) and Cholula.

March 24 – 31

Oaxaca

We return to one of our favorites!  Great place and a must on any travelers list!

April 14 – 21 or 21 – 18

Yucatan & Merida

The Flamingo preserve, the pyramids and a historic Spanish Colonial town + more are all on the schedule.

On the shorter tours we will visit:

April 26 – 29, 2019

UNESCO site of Paquime, Chihuahua

This is the pottery high point of Mata Ortiz and prehistory of Cueva de la Olla in Chihuahua.  We hope we have the opportunity to visit the Sotol distillery and get a taste or two and stay at Spencer and Emi MacCallum’s place. $630 per person/double – all-inclusive once we get into Mexico.  Pottery on your own!  This is a small group tour…3 or 4 people would work well.

I am always available to do one day Fr. Kino Mission tours to Magdalena, Tubutama, Cocospera and wherever else you would like to go.

For those who have already visited Paquime, in Chihuahua and seen the millions of shells, a visit to Trincheras to see the connections between the two sites would be an interesting and informative tour.

Where do you want to go?  Just let us know!

See you on a tour.  L.
