Ambos Tours Trip to Chiapas, Mexico

Ambos Tours of Arizona hosts an eight-day tour to beautiful Chiapas, Mexico. The state of Chiapas is the furthest south in Mexico and borders Guatemala – it is far enough from the volcano to not be a bother.

This tour incorporates some of the best of the Southern Mexico state of Chiapas, a land of natural beauty, rich history and fascinating cultures.

If you are into Pre-Hispanic history, archaeology or beautiful natural surroundings that offer activities like birding, this is the tour for you.

We will visit the famous ruins of Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilan, take a boat trip up the Grijalva River (where we will pass through the Sumidero Canyon), visit Lake Montebello on our way to San Cristobal de las Casas, and visit museums and indigenous villages on our way to the Palenque.

The original design of the tour from the travel agent was six days, but we wanted a longer trip, so we will be there for eight days.

We will stay in 4-star hotels that include breakfast. Also included is round-trip ground transportation from Nogales, Sonora, airfare, hotels, all transfers and entry fees, a private tour guide and tour transportation from our arrival in Chiapas and a bilingual escort all the way.

Our first trip to Chiapas in November 2018 sold out quickly. Bookmark our “The Latest” page, where we will announce upcoming tours to the beautiful land of Chiapas, Mexico.
